La proposition qui m’avait été soumise était d’explorer les balades permises dans un rayon de 100 kilomètres autour de mon domicile. Je devais documenter ces sorties en dessinant. Ce rayon de 100 kilomètres était celui permis entre le 11 mai et les 2 juin 2020. Le rhume des foins en a décidé autrement. L’allergie aux pollens m’a tenu confiné chez moi toutes ces semaines. J’ai tracé un cercle de 100km sur Google Maps et je suis parti explorer le contenu de cette lisière.

Pour le plaisir… Faire des photos à la manière de Karl Blossfeldt (1865-1932). En noir et blanc, en couleur, et puis d’autres moins dans la ligne de Karl : des créations d’hybrides et d’étranges fleurs des temps modernes.

Les petits soldats font la guerre dans la cuisine. Toujours volontaires, jamais fissurés par le doute, ils rejouent à leur manière dérisoire les guerres des grands. Est-il vraiment sérieux de jouer aux petits soldats ? Sans doute non. Mais le photographe a beau jeu de prétexter la recherche plastique pour retrouver le temps d’une prise de vue les joies du petit garçon, qui alignait ses soldats pour inventer des histoires abracadabrantesques.

Ces paysages de mer sont une captation de l’ambiance particulière de lieux. Baie de Saint Brieuc ou du mont Saint-Michel prises dans la brume légère de l’été ou par un après-midi d’hiver. Ciel et mer se confondent, séparé un un dégradé subtil de sables humides et la ligne sombre de l’océan. P.S. : Le paragraphe ci-dessus est pure affabulation. Tirages 50x70 cm montés sur PVC 2mm

PLe mandala tibétain, répond à des contraintes bien précises. Il est a l’image du palais de bouddha. Ces mandalas ci sont aussi à cette image, mais utilisent des images associées à diverses violences (guerre, émeutes …) pour retourner leur contenus initial et arriver à une harmonie globale, basée sur la dissension locale Le premier mandala (tibet 2008) est interactif et permet de zoomer sur les détails. Les autres sont des reproductions de tirages 50x50 cm montés sur aluminium.
